Chat surveys: one question at a time, like a messenger
A ten-field form on someone else's website is a request. Three questions in a chat are a conversation. There's now a sixth survey type, the chat survey: it opens from the familiar trigger tab in the corner of the page, but shows a conversation card instead of a form.
The survey asks one question at a time. Answer options are chips: tap one and your answer appears in the thread as your own bubble, then the survey types the next question. Open questions get a composer line like a messenger's, and optional ones can be skipped. After the last answer comes a thank-you, and everything is sent at once - in Responses a chat looks exactly like any other form.
It's set up like a popup form: the tab's label and position, when to show it - a delay, a click on an element, a returning visitor, the end of the page - the language switcher, the theme. In the editor a chat has no steps: its questions are one list, in the order they'll be asked.
Good for short mood checks, greeting new visitors and a quick word right after a purchase - wherever tone matters more than density.
