Invite teammates to help manage surveys and responses from Employees.

Roles

Every employee has one company-level role, set right when you invite them:

• Admin — full access to everything in the company.
• Manager — access can be narrowed to specific teams (see below), rather than seeing every survey and response in the company by default.

Teams and domain access

Team assignment isn't part of the invite itself — it's a separate step, done afterward by editing the employee (click their row, then Access restriction in the Edit employee dialog). There you can assign them to one or more teams, each with its own team role (Reader, Writer, or Admin of that team), and optionally restrict which domains they can access. Teams are what survey team restrictions check against: a survey restricted to a team is only visible to employees who belong to it.

What happens when you invite someone

What happens depends on whether that address already has an account, and the two cases behave quite differently:

• Already has an account: they're added to your company immediately. No email is sent and there is nothing for them to accept — the company simply appears for them the next time they sign in (or straight away, if they're signed in already).
• New here: they get an email with a link to an invitation page showing which company invited them and what role they're being given. They fill in their name and a password, and submitting creates their account, signs them in, and drops them straight into your company. They don't go through the normal sign-up and email-verification steps separately — accepting the invitation verifies the address.

Only the second case creates an invitation, so only the second case can expire: those links last 7 days. If one expires or you need to send it again, you can do both from the Employees page.
